Rev. Fr. Xavier Andrew, Parish Priest of the Church of the Visitation, paid his last respects at the funeral of the late Datin Paduka A. Mangalam S. Iyaswamy Iyer on Saturday 10 June 2023 at the Pure Life Society, Puchong.
He offered prayers on behalf of the Christians during the Interfaith prayer session for the repose of the soul of Mother Mangalam.
Mother Mangalam, as she was popularly known, passed away on Saturday 10 June 2023. She was 97 years old. Mother Mangalam was the co-founder and Life President of the Pure Life Society. She was also known as ‘Mother Theresa of Malaysia’. May Her Soul Rest in Peace.
