Visitation Lenten Retreat (English) a 2 day event from 4-3-2023( Saturday) to 5-3-2023(Sunday) .
The Theme : Catholic Family :The light of the world &the salt of the earth .
Retreat Master :Rev Fr. Philip Tay OCD .
Fr. Philip focused on the family as the light of the world like Jesus. Also the challenges facing the family today and the need to pass on the faith to the younger generation eg through family prayer and bible study . The family needs to be filled with God's word so that it can go and fulfil it's mission in the Catholic church .
Fr .Philip also related his own spiritual growth in his journey to becoming a Priest which was very interesting .
On the second day, Fr emphasized on Lenten spirituality and the need to rise in Christian hope despite suffering and challenging times.
Praise and worship during the session was by the Visitation Prayer group
The session ended with Adoration and divine praises and was closed with praise and worship.
